Day 1: ENTEBBE – BWINDI NATIONAL PARK (9 hrs)
En route we will make a stop at the Equator , an imaginary line running from the Northern hemisphere to the southern. It is such an amazing and memorable experience standing at both sides of the world. Proceed west driving through the rolling verdant hills with long horned Ankole cattle, terraced farmlands and spectacular sceneries. Have lunch in Mbarara at Lake View Regency Hotel.Proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest a home to the mountain gorilla.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
After an early morning breakfast, join a team of trackers for a briefing then proceed with tracking in the dense bwindi forest. On the trek you will have a glimpse of different bird species, other primates and rare tree species. Once you set eyes on the magnificent Gorillas, you will be allowed to track them for one hr. This is un doubly an incredible experience leaving you mesmerized. You will be awarded a certificate at the end.
In the afternoon visit the Batwa community he three-hour village walk begins with a visit to the handcraft shop – selling handmade artifacts such as fabrics, beeswax candles and wood carvings, all produced by talented local craftsmen and women. The neighboring Batwa community performs songs and dances about their former life in the forest, introducing you to another unique local culture. You will also meet the traditional healer who treats the sick with medicinal plants, and the teachers and pupils of the local primary school. Finally, you can learn how bananas are used to make juice, beer and gin – and taste the results!Proceeds from the tour support community development projects such as a secondary school, maize mill and microfinance circle, and the Batwa receive all proceeds from their performances. DAY 3: BOAT RIDE AND CANOEING ON LAKE BUNYONYI,
Enjoy morning breakfast and then go for a canoeing activity on Lake Bunyonyi where you will take photos of this beautiful lake, and interact with the locals. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise to discover the wonders of lake bunyonyi (Prision island, ziplining). Overnight
DAY 4: DEPARTURE TO KAMPALA/ENTEBBE
Later you transfer back to Kampala, Lunch en-route. The guide will drop you off at your hotel in Kampala.
Note: if you intend to fly out this very day, you will not do the canoeing activity; you will simply utilize day 4 of the trip to take photos as day 5 will only be for transfer. Also note that you are required to book a late flight since the driving time is over 8 hours.
